Kat Todd-Schwartz
Kat was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. She practiced law in Canada for two years before moving to California and she has practiced law in California since 2002. Kat’s practice focuses on medical malpractice defense. She also has an interest in assisting acute care facilities with conservatorships and placements of patients who lack capacity and who do not qualify for state funding. When she is not working, Kat uses her experience as a former rugby player (she represented Canada in two Women’s Rugby World Cups - 1998 in Holland and 2002 in Spain) to travel around the United States as a coach and mentor to referees.
