Robert H. Zimmerman
Bob Zimmerman is a senior partner and one of the founding members of the firm. After
receiving his undergraduate degree from Juniata College, he obtained his law degree
from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 1978. He is admitted
to practice in California and various United States District Courts. With three
decades as a litigator, Bob is well versed in handling medical malpractice defense,
medical professional advocacy and elder abuse civil litigation.
The honored recipient of the 2002 Trial Lawyer of Year award from the Sacramento
Valley Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Bob is a member of the Traynor
Honor Society. He is recognized by his peers with their highest ranking "AV" (very
high/preeminent) in Martindale-Hubbell.
Bob is active in professional organizations including the California State Bar Association,
the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel, American
Board of Trial Advocates (Secretary 2008, Member Executive Board 2008), and Inn of Court.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, Bob currently resides in Sacramento.
He enjoys traveling boating and skiing with his family. A state champion in high
school, Bob now enjoys coaching his daughter's high school pole vault team.
