Patricia S. Tweedy

Pat Tweedy is a partner with the firm. After completing her undergraduate work at Sacramento State University, she obtained her law degree from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 1981. She is a licensed teacher and Professional Mediator, admitted to practice in California and various United States District Courts, the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth District and the United States Supreme Court.

Bringing 26 years of expertise to her practice areas of medical malpractice defense, including defense of hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities and professional defense, Pat emphasizes service as an arbitrator or mediator for alternative dispute resolution. Pat is a member of professional organizations including the California State Bar Association, the Sacramento County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Member, Trial Techniques Committee of the Tort, Trial & Insurance Section), the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (President, 2008), the American Board of Trial Advocates, Inn of Court and the Defense Research Institute.
